CMAX Energi 2013 with 302 option: Bought on Labor day weekend with good deal. Very good interior. Leather seats , Nice looking dash board, Plenty of leg room, looks very roomy, gives compact SUV look. Pros : 1. You can control lock/unlock, set your desired temp from Web or Mobile app. You can see where car is parked from Mobile app. You can schedule time to charge. 2. Sends emails or SMS when charge is going to start and expected time to finish. You can configure all kind of alerts. 3. Navigation,Phone, Climate Control & Radio Voice Commands works fine. 4. No issue in setting up Garage opener. 5. Car is much powerful than Prius and handles very well.

  • Loving the C/Max Energi - 2013 Ford C-Max Energi
    By -

Just purchased the new C/MAX Energi. I wanted the fuel economy, but was concerned whether it would provide the power I wanted. I wasnt disappointed. Nicely appointed, this car drives like a dream. But be careful, no road noise leads you to go a little faster than you think. Had it to 85 on the highway today, thinking I was doing about 60. Seats are extremely comfortable with great lumbar support. Smooth ride, excellent acceleration - but very little storage space for long trips. You can go about 100 miles for the same cost of a gallon of gas, depending on where you live. The only downside - they are hard to find! If are lucky to find one at your dealer, grab it before its gone.

  • 2013 C-Max Energi SEL with all the goodies. - 2013 Ford C-Max Energi

Purchased last month (May), one of the last 2013s on the dealers lot and purchased for well below invoice and 0% for 72. Originally was going to purchase a Focus Electric, but with range anxiety and needing more room, the C-Max Energi was the smarter choice. Even with a battery pack in the trunk, can fit a stroller out back, will swallow groceries with ease, and with the rear seats down, a wheelchair will fit. Car sees 80% city driving and 20% freeway, achieving 120 mpge (EV mode) and 53 mpg (hybrid mode). On a 120v charge, range is 26 miles and havent been to the gas station in over a month! Made the right choice with this car, love it!

  • Love Ford C-Max Energi plugin - 2013 Ford C-Max Energi

The Energi is the first car I have found with significant electric range and a hybrid backup system that is practical. Volt is sporty but the dimensions of the car dont fulfill my everyday needs.

  • Great Car, Much Better Than Hoped For - 2013 Ford C-Max Energi
    By -

Have 2000 miles on the car so far and loving it. Big pluses: seats are very supportive and comfortable. Driving is nimble and quick, dare I say sportscar like? Driving country roads is quite fun. Freeway driving is great; Id have no problem taking this on a long road trip. Driving in all electric mode has a great feeling to it, hard to describe, but there is a direct response to it, not sluggish at all. I plug it into a normal outlet at night, fully charged every morning. So far, combined MPG is 51, and I do not have driving habits that promote good mileage. Only major drawback is the fact the back storage is not flat when the back seats are down, due to the batteries.

  • CMax energi 86mpg - 2013 Ford C-Max Energi

Owned Cmax since 1/1/13 you will get this mileage (85mpg and increasing) if you drive less than 40 miles between charges with like 1/2 freeway. If you drive alot more than that a day you will probably do better with another car. Nice drive and havent been back to dealer yet.

  • 9-Months and 42,000 miles on the CMAX Energi - 2013 Ford C-Max Energi

I purchased my Energi in August 2013. So far the car has been flawless other than some bugs in the "Sync" system that have been fixed by a software update. I typically drive 200 miles per day on Southern California freeways commuting to various construction sites. I often drive into Los Angeles, the deserts and mountains for work. This car is very comfortable at freeway speeds, where I drive with the flow of traffic, often 80 mph. At the speeds I drive and distances between charges, I am very happy with my 42+ mpg. I am by no means a hyper-miler, and I carry hundreds of pounds of gear in the car every day.

  • Great car - 2013 Ford C-Max Energi

Ive had my c-Max Energi for 8 months. I live in a town of about 200,000 and drive about 25 miles per day with occasional road trips 2-3 hours away. I live in the south, so I havent had the recharging issue others report. I am getting 100 miles per gallon and using about $23 per month in electricity. It is roomy and comfortable, has great pick-up, and easy to park. I love it.

  • What a surprise! - 2013 Ford C-Max Energi
    By -

Its been more than thirty years since I last bought an American made car and Im so glad that Ford designed and brought to market the C-Max Energi. The car is a technological marvel. Besides the excellent mileage and the ease it runs between EV and gas modes, the car is actually fun to drive. The innovations that Ford has introduced, along with the smart features this car possesses, makes it a great way to travel. The car is well made, has great visibility, a quiet cabin, and lots of appointments that came standard. I have investigated many brands and models and found none that offer what the C-Max Energi offers.
